CANNABIS CONTROL
Police are too busy to attend burglaries or arrest suspects filmed in
the act by security cameras, yet they have time to arrest and charge
the customers of tinnie houses.
The range of backgrounds and occupations of these customers
demonstrates mainstream New Zealanders like to smoke pot. They should
be able to buy it at licensed premises, and police should concentrate
on catching real criminals.
And the Government should stop pretending there is any benefit to
society in keeping cannabis illegal.
