GO AFTER THE REAL USERS
I am a 53-year-old male with chronic kidney failure. For me to live I
am forced to be tied down to a dialysis machine for a minimum of nine
hours per week. These treatments leave me weak and suffering from a
number of side effects that come with dialysis.
One of the side effects is a very poor appetite because of an upset
stomach most of the time. Medical marijuana is a godsend for people
like me. It not only helps with the nausea, it helps give patients
like myself an appetite.
Many of us have been trying to do what the voters of California said
was a good thing, just to have town after town either close
dispensaries or (Pismo Beach) pass laws so dispensaries can't operate.
Why are we wasting time with legal pot smokers who are trying to feel
better when we have a new crystal meth that looks like candy? Let's
put our "war on drugs" money where it needs to go, not on us. We are
not hurting or robbing others to support our medication needs.
Leave Central Coast Compassionate Caregivers alone, DEA; go after the
real drug dealers.
