INTIMIDATION DOESN'T TEACH RESPONSIBILITY

To the Editor of The Day:

The only things that seem to have been missing from the combined operation
on Westerly High School were paratroopers and a submarine (The Day, April
17). And all for what? A small bag of marijuana? No. The purpose was to
intimidate and send fear through the kids.

Aren't you ashamed to let Westerly Schools Supt. Scott Kizner terrorize
your kids like that? You ought to be. It's the parents' responsibility to
protect their children from harm, even from Gen. Kizner. The man is a disgrace.
