POT REVENUES

To the editor;

Cannabis arrest on route 37 has absolutely nothing to do with Al Qaida.
(Job Well Done, Keith Shaver, Sunday 24 march). Oil revenues finance the
Arab terrorists like Osama bin Laden far more than drugs! Cannabis profits
support local businesses.

Mr. Shaver maybe referring to the poppy plants supporting Al Qaida.

Prohibition makes a twenty-five cent plant worth $8,000! It's our failed
drug policy that supports crime and terrorism.

When prohibition of alcohol ended, crime in the US dropped 50%. End
prohibition on (politically selected) drugs, our addiction to oil, and
terrorist will have to sell computers to make money.
