UNFAIR TO CLASSIFY DRUG AS 'RAVE' DRUG

In response to your article: "Cop: Deadly drugs for sale on the Internet,"
you state a classification of "rave" drugs, and I find that not only an
ignorant statement, but it also encourages the stereotyping of a subculture.

Although drug usage has been seen at raves, via survey, the No. 1 drug
consumed at raves is tobacco and the No. 2 drug alcohol. Why don't you
classify these as rave drugs or maybe classify alcohol as a "bar" or "club"
drug? Ravers, as a statistic, do not use drugs in any higher per-capita form.

Ecstasy and its analogues are "designer" drugs, yes. They are entactogens
(not amphetamines or hallucinogens), sure. To classify a drug as a rave
drug only causes more discrimination against the rave culture and its
participants, such as myself.
