GARR HAS INTEGRITY

To the editor:

I would like to commend Allen Garr for being a journalist of integrity and
standing his ground against these elitist people who think they may act as
they like ("War on drugs conference open to select few," May 8). It is
unfortunate that journalists/reporters of his quality seem to be dinosaurs
in the United States. [You have] universal health care for every citizen,
soon to be decriminalized marijuana, and media actually doing their job.

Who said the United States was the greatest country in the world? Keep
printing the truth on the ugly "War on Us." Thank you.
