MEDICAL-USAGE POT SMOKERS PLAN TO SUE OTTAWA
Kitchener, Ont. -- Nine Canadians who have permits to use marijuana for
medical reasons plan to launch a civil lawsuit against the federal
government this week in an effort to ease access to the drug.
The lawsuit, to be announced at a news conference tomorrow, asks that
Canadians who have legal exemptions be given access to experimental
marijuana crops being grown by Health Canada in an abandoned mine at Flin
Flon, Man. CP
