POT SENTENCE POSTPONED
Raymond Turmel proclaimed himself a free man as he walked out of Hull court
yesterday.
Turmel, who was found guilty of cultivating and trafficking marijuana in
November, was in court yesterday for sentencing arguments. But he staved
off his penance by introducing a motion to reopen a constitutional
challenge he had lost before trial. Judge Jean-Pierre Plouffe said he would
rule on its merit June 14.
