LOOK TO FUTURE, NOT PAST

I read in bold type: "Democratic chief has drug record." What happened?
Didn't his dad have enough pull?

Do people care whether former President Bill Clinton smoked pot or
President Bush was a cokehead?

The country stays divided because of Democratic and Republican bickering.
The Herald-Leader should try to improve that.

And tell people to vote -- that's what's important. Who cares about the
past? It's the future that counts -- we need leaders, not some story from
1982. Wake up.
