PORN AGAIN

Toronto -- Re: Testing Positive With The Stoner Demographic by Lynn Crosbie
(June 5): Granted, High Times is a puerile magazine. No one will argue that
its demographic is mainly young white males who fancy themselves as
connoisseurs of cannabis.

Tell me then, how is this form of "porno" any different from Gourmet, Cigar
Aficionado or Decanter? Are these magazines not deserving of Ms. Crosbie's
invective?

If Ms. Crobsie is so concerned about pornography, then why stop at High
Times? Certainly, if having Cindy Crawford suggestively sucking a big fat
stogie on the cover of a magazine dedicated to glorifying cigar culture and
all that it implies isn't porn, then I don't know what is.
