MARIJUANA REMAINS IN DOMAIN OF CRIMINALS
Re: Hemp cultivation prohibited in U. S. (letter to the editor, March 28).
I agree with letter writer: "Canada must think different than
America: rationally, credibly and reasonably come to mind."
However, my question is why can't you think that way when it involves
marijuana?
Why does your government insist that marijuana remain completely
unregulated, untaxed and controlled exclusively by criminals? Only
legal products of any kind can be regulated, taxed and controlled by
any government agency.
The U. S. didn't invade and occupy Canada when you decided to allow
hemp to be legally grown and distributed.
