FBI CHANGES WORRY ATTORNEY

TULSA -- Federal prosecutors may face a challenge as the FBI takes agents
away from drug and white-collar crime to focus on terrorism, a U.S.
attorney said. David O'Meilia said the drug enforcement task force in
Oklahoma's Northern District has only one full-time and one part-time
agent. He said he's also concerned by FBI Director Robert Mueller's
announcement that the agency would probably stop dealing with bank fraud
cases involving less than $100,000.

Mueller announced in May that 518 agents across the nation would be shifted
to anti-terrorism duties.

Oklahoma City FBI spokesman Gary Johnson wouldn't say how many of the
state's approximately 120 agents will be reassigned, but said he expects
changes will be minimal.
