VOLUMINOUS 'METH' STORY GAVE SOME GUYS IDEAS
To the Editor:
I find it somewhat disconcerting the sheer volume of details that were
included in the story about "meth." I heard two young boys discussing the
article. One was asking the other if he thought it would be worthwhile if
he were to get some of the anhydrous ammonia. Maybe they could sell it, the
other fellow said. He knew someone who would be interested.
The first guy said it was "cool." He had no idea that stuff was worth that
kind of money. Even if it was just bluster on the part of these two young
guys, they surely didn't need to have this information.
Did you ever consider by printing a story and including all such details
that it actually gives some of these young people, as well as some of the
less-savory, older ones an idea to try to make some seemingly easy money?
Thank you for listening and perhaps giving some future consideration when
printing such articles.
