DRUG TESTS ARE DEMEANING
I am very disappointed by the failure of the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold
the Fourth Amendment ("Justices rule random drug tests, safety above
privacy rights," Florida Today, June 28).
No longer can we say "innocent until proven guilty." Now our children must
face random searches of their body fluids as a part of their education.
By subjecting kids to demeaning, dignity-robbing drug tests, we are doing
far more harm than good.
