TREATMENT BETTER THAN PRISON
Thank you for the excellent coverage of the "Treatment Instead of Prison"
issue [June 27]. Treatment is a better alternative than prison. I hope that
your article will impact the way we as a state create policy. Thanks to the
Rev. Mary Rowland and the TIP committee of MICAH and its partners in
WISDOM, the umbrella organization that includes the local
congregation-based community organizations of MICAH, RIC, CUSH and JOB. The
fight for justice is never over.
