CANDIDATE'S STANCE ON DRUGS IS DOPEY
In response to the recent article in which congressional candidate Roger
Kahn states he might be open to legalizing certain drugs ("Candidate forum
gets jolt," @issue, June 26): If Kahn wants to be a public servant, he's
off to a bad start.
Taking illegal narcotics isn't a decision that affects just one person.
Drugs destroy families.
Decriminalizing drugs says society accepts their use. I'm not willing to
accept that. Georgia's medical community isn't willing to accept that.
