A SPECIAL MINISTRY

I am writing to express my appreciation for the coverage of drug czar
John Walter's visit to Victory Fellowship ("Relief from addiction,"
June 26).

The men who prayed for Walters are former heroin addicts who have
experienced the life-transforming power of Jesus through this
ministry. As products of intensive training from Victory Fellowship's
Leadership Academy, most are now pastors of affiliated ministries and
have become agents of transformation in drug- and crime-infested
neighborhoods.

Thanks for placing a well-deserved spotlight on this special
ministry.
