UTAH: JUDGE HELD IN DRUG CASE

A county judge was arrested at his home in Highland after his family called
the police and turned over drugs that they said belonged to him. The judge,
Ray M. Harding Jr. of Fourth District Court in Utah County, was arrested on
Saturday on charges of possessing cocaine, heroin and barbiturates. A
family member had filed a police complaint about narcotics and a domestic
disturbance, the police said. The judge was sent to a jail in another
county, Tooele, to ensure his safety.
