MARIJUANA LAWS A WASTE OF TIME, TAXES
To the editor:
Bravo for David Swick's July 12 column, Brits' New Pot Law Sensible. The
U.K.'s government is one of the most conservative in the world, yet even it
has come to recognize that strict criminalization of marijuana is a
nonsensical policy. With any luck, some governments in this hemisphere will
soon be following suit. Putting people in jail for smoking pot is a waste
of time and tax dollars.
