DRUG AND PARK ABUSE

Picture this scene: a beautiful day, a green and shady park, children
laughing and playing -- a drug addict being injected with drugs by another
addict!

Not more than 8 feet away from a group of 9- to 12-year-old kids, I
witnessed this at a park in Turlock. The kids saw everything and called the
police immediately. I was in shock. This was at 2 in the afternoon!

I think we need to tighten up security at this park -- maybe a security
guard who walks the park, gets to know the kids and knows what is going on,
and most important, protects our children from these lowlifes who have no
respect for children!
