HIGH OFFICE (2)
When asked if he had ever smoked cannabis, Justice Minister Martin Cauchon
is reported to have said, "Yes, of course I tried it before, obviously."
Why "of course," why "obviously"? Was he suggesting that every Canadian
male of his generation had broken the law by smoking pot, and that breaking
the law is acceptable behaviour?
We have been given a justice minister who advocates breaking the law. What
did we ever do to deserve this, or him?
