ABOLISH LAWS, NOT DRUGS
Re: Facts about methamphetamine, July 12.
Your attempt to demonize yet another new illegal drug won't make a damn bit
of difference. Users and non-users alike will continue to suffer from the
effects of drug prohibition rather than from the drugs themselves.
Our drug laws fly in the face of everything the Bill of Rights stands for.
Abolish them.
Our drug laws are illogical. If we ban certain because they are dangerous,
why do we not ban alcohol and tobacco? Abolish them.
Our drug laws harm users more then if the drugs were legal because of
adulterated drugs. Abolish them.
Our drug laws nurture organized crime. Abolish them.
Our drug laws spawn police corruption. Abolish them.
Our drug laws encourage the spread of dangerous diseases such as AIDS and
hepatitis. Abolish them
Our drug laws cost a fortune. Abolish them.
