SERVE CANADIANS
I'm writing about: "U.S. TO CANADA: 'LAX' MARIJUANA LAWS HINDER WAR ON
DRUGS" (7-18-02).
It seems to me that the question Canada needs to ask itself is what is the
role of Canada in relation to the United States? Is Canada an independent,
sovereign nation or an obsequious neighbor wishing to curry favour with the
superpower?
It seems to me that Canada should act in the best interest of Canada. Not
the U.S. politicians.
