TO BE FREE WE MUST FLEE U.S. FOR SHORES OF EUROPE
Thank you for publishing Nichol Dolby's outstanding July 16 column,
"Chipping away at America's rights."
It seems sad and ironic that our forefathers left Europe and came to
America to obtain personal freedoms not available in Europe. Now Americans
must go to Europe or Canada to obtain personal freedoms not available in
the United States.
If adult citizens are not free to put whatever we want into our own bodies,
obviously we are not very free.
Perhaps we should send the Statue of Liberty back or perhaps rename it the
Statue of Hypocrisy.
