NO LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA

I AM outraged that anyone who is in a position of authority would lobby for
or agree with the legalization of marijuana. I spent five years helping
with the program D.A.R.E., teaching children to stay away from drugs.
Government sponsored this program to stop children from using drugs and to
tell them the long term effects and problems of marijuana and other drugs.
My own government gave me a pat on the back for helping the youth in my
city but they can have their accolades and their praise back. I feel like a
fool now for helping a cause I firmly believe in but was left behind by the
bureaucrats who see marijuana as a cash cow or a way to take a little bit
of the pressure off the legal system. I would not want to be a child
growing up in a world where what you are taught can be changed at the drop
of the hat to please a few.
