BRILLIANT IDEA

THE IDEA OF putting alcoholic beverages in bright orange bags, stamped with
the names of the stores selling the booze is brilliant ("Confront public
intoxication," July 23). I hope people at City Hall read it.

While our homeless crisis has reached an emergency stage, our supervisors
talk pie-in-the-sky plans about growing marijuana. These supervisors need
to put down the ganja and take practical measures to improve our quality of
life and get those who need help off the streets.
