MARIJUANA A LESSER THREAT

Regarding the column Sunday by Robert Robb, "Romley deserves a debate on
drugs, but he should lose":

Tobacco use has been reduced without a single person going to jail or even
threatened with jail. Yet County Attorney Rick Romley wants the threat of
jail or prison for consumers of marijuana. Marijuana is a natural herb that
has never been documented to kill a single person in the 5,000-year history
of its use.

Tobacco, on the other hand, kills more than 400,000 Americans every year.
We don't attempt to force therapy on tobacco users. Why marijuana users?
