STUDY SUPPORTS POT
The July 20 letter, "Marijuana has no medical validity," states that there
have been no studies which support the medical use of marijuana. From a
study commissioned by the Office of National Drug Control Policy and
conducted by the Institute of Medicine: "Scientific data indicate the
potential therapeutic value of cannabinoid drugs, primarily THC, for pain
relief, control of nausea and vomiting, and appetite stimulation." The full
