WHAT WERE THEY SMOKING?
Whenever I hear proponents of Proposition 203 talk about their plan to
force Arizona Department of Public Safety officers to hand out free
marijuana, I wonder, "What were they smoking?" The concept, sponsored by
the president of the University of Phoenix, is disguised as another plan to
allow "medical marijuana," but it really is nothing more than a pot-smoke
screen hiding the true aim of the proposal: to allow more people to get
high with the state's permission!
Proponents argue the plan is safe because DPS officers will control the
distribution of marijuana in your neighborhood. What they refuse to admit
is that this plan would make DPS the largest dope dealer in Arizona.
How many people have had their lives affected by someone who was high on
drugs? Law-abiding citizens don't want more drugs in their neighborhoods.
They don't want potheads driving down neighborhood streets. And they don't
want this pot-smoking, get-high plan.
