NOELLE BUSH NEEDS SUPPORT

The media frenzy regarding Noelle Bush is sickening. She is a lovely young
woman who obviously became addicted to a prescription drug, in this case Xanax.

Last year we had a family member who became addicted to Paxil. The doctor
who prescribed it was useless and a psychiatrist was unable to help. It was
scary and very difficult to watch.

Fortunately, with a lot of common sense and love, she was first able to cut
down and finally able to stop taking it. Even months later, she still has
twinges of need. She was lucky because she had people around who wanted her
to succeed.

Bush is not so lucky. She has been sentenced to a place where people would
like her to fail to embarrass her father.

The nurse who left the medicine where she could get it should be sentenced
to jail. The judge is not impressive, either. He is not interested in
helping this young lady.

My heart goes out to the family. Although the media have chosen to ignore
it, Noelle also has a mother and two brothers who love and care about her.
