OTTAWA SAFEST

I am a 24-year-old university student who has attended many raves in
various cities around the world and I have learned that Ottawa has one of
the safest party atmospheres.

Never have I heard of anyone being approached by "sexual predators." I
expect that is because the parties I attended were well-organized and had
awesome security. Promoters do a great organizing job. Of course, that
isn't the case for every party. But that is no reason to punish the
promoters for the negligence of parents.

This bylaw does nothing to address the problem of parents not bothering to
take sufficient responsibility for the well-being of young teens attending
all-night parties. Why not address the core of the problem?
