NOTHING MORE THAN PROPAGANDA
Dear Editor:
Re DARE Program Visits Castlegar Rotary Club, Jul. 12
Whew, this is nasty stuff, hate propaganda pure and simple, designed to
make us fear and/or despise the minority that uses or distributes a few
supposedly harmful drugs the state has decided to ban.
If the purpose of our drug laws were to protect us from harm, wouldn't we
have banned alcohol and tobacco too? No, let's face the facts here. Our
drug laws were passed for one reason and one reason only: to persuade the
majority to support a government pogrom to ruin the lives of a totally
innocent minority.
