NORTHERN HEALTH TALKS ADDICTIONS

Northern Health wants to have a conversation on addiction and mental
health services.

Northern Health continues its community consultation process through
discussions on improving addictions and mental services across Northern B.C.

"Lets Talk About Addictions and Mental Health" takes place May 23 to June 27.

Quesnel's meeting is June 18 while Prince George hosts the conversation June 6.

All meetings start at 7 p.m.. -- locations have yet to be determined.

Residents can provide input on addiction and mental health services
through community meetings and by completing a workbook.

Residents can suggest ways to improve local health services in general.

Workbooks, with a response section will be made available on-line, as
well as local Northern Health and Aboriginal health offices.

There are community meetings in 21 municipalities across the North
with additional meetings inviting input from Aboriginal communities.

Information about NH's community consultation will be made available
at www.northernhealth.ca.
