GOVERNMENT SHOULD CONTROL DRUGS

Re: "High time for change," Apr. 13-15.

The power to control quality, price and availability should be in the
hands of the government, not cartels and mafia as it is today.

However, the issue at hand is not completely black and white. Along
with legalization comes a certain responsibility that is handed to
the citizens.

If the government were to consider decriminalizing recreational drug
use, a solid public education campaign based on facts would need to
accompany such a policy shift.
