OTHER DRUGS MORE DANGEROUS THAN POT

To the editor:

Re: Latimer column: Marijuana Use and Psychosis (April 6 Capital News).

If marijuana really is as dangerous as they say, isn't that all the
more reason to take it out of the hands of teens and gangsters, and
put it into the regulated hands of responsible, tax-paying adults?

If not, then by that same logic, we should criminalize alcohol,
caffeine, aspirin and tobacco because their "dangers" are far more
well-documented than cannabis.
