CANNABIS IS A LETHAL WEAPON

I read again this week about another young child getting involved with drugs.

We have, unfortunately, had first-hand experience of severe cannabis misuse.

Our 16-year-old son was introduced to cannabis by a friend a year ago and
is now completely dependent on it.

He has lost interest in sports, his family and has stolen to maintain his
habit.

He hid it very well for a while, but the mood swings and depression could
not be disguised for long.

Regarding the Mail's comment about educating our children of the dangers of
drugs, I would like to say that our son was well aware of the dangers.

And he was against drugs.

It has been heart-breaking to watch a young life damaged in this way.

I think cannabis is a lethal weapon.
