POLICE STRIKE AGAIN
Re 'Medicine' seized in bust of pot club, Aug. 14.
I wish I could say that I was as shocked as I am angered by the actions of
Toronto's "finest" in rounding up a group of medicinal pot smokers. Sadly,
it doesn't particularly shock me at all. It just looks to be another
Gestapo strike by the bullies in blue.
Also not surprising is the fact that police refuse to give any reasons for
the operation or say anything about it whatsoever. I don't know, I guess it
seems kind of weird to me that some of the most dangerous people on our
streets (at least since they rounded up the big, bad chemo and AIDS
patients) are the ones we pay to protect us.
