DOWNSIZING
Want to help stop counterfeiting and make it hard for drug dealers to
launder their money? Get rid of all bills larger than $20.
That's not far-fetched. Some people actually are proposing that because
modern photocopying makes it easier for counterfeiters to print terrific
copies. Smaller bills cut down on their profits.
And having bills no larger than $20 would be a major storage and disposal
headache for drug dealers.
Most Americans wouldn't miss the bigger bills. Just open your wallet and
look inside.
