FIELD SOCIETY TEST
I was very disappointed to read in The Times that I will not be able to
enter Canada due to the fact that I was convicted of a DUI 10 years ago. It
seems that Canada treats this offense very seriously, even though I have
paid my debt to society and been sober for 10 years.
It is a great shame. All I wanted to do was pop into downtown Vancouver for
a couple of hours. Just long enough to purchase some marijuana and avail
myself of the services of one of their many prostitutes; both vices that
the provincial government seems to turn a blind eye to.
I guess I'll just hang out in the states where I am far more likely to run
into a recovering alcoholic than a pimp, prostitute, drug dealer or stoner.
