DON'T JUST TARGET THE POT GROWERS

To the Editor:

It must have been quite a sight watching Tennessee's National Guardsmen
launch their preemptive strike on Cumberland's marijuana plants, or was it
more reminiscent of a scene from the Keystone Cops?

If the governor is really concerned about the health and well being of the
citizenry, he should have instructed his force to also take out the
distilleries, breweries and tobacco fields. We are strapped for education
funds, but we have money for this?

America suffers from madness on both sides of the drug issue.
