REFORM DRUG LAWS

Thank you for your editorial on prison precedence. It is evident to many
people that our current policies aren't working. They have had a
devastating effect on inner cities by tearing families apart. They are
racist and unjust.

Our current drug policies contribute enormously to the prison population.
Our drug policies also contribute to the killing of innocent children on
street corners. The violence in our inner cities is directly related to the
current prohibition of drugs.
