'MARA-GEE-WANA'

I can just hear it now in homes throughout the country, "Son, go down to
the corner store and get a bag of milk, loaf of bread, and a pack of
"mara-gee-wana." And don't forget the chips, 'cause when I'm done toking
all that dope, I'm gonna get the munchies."

Is the government seriously considering legalizing marijuana? Have they
really thought this thing through?

Let's look at the good side of this issue, if there is one. It would
provide jobs in farming, processing and retail. Here's how, instead of
growing corn or soy beans in the fields, farmers could grow marijuana. And
we would need the processing plants to dry, separate, roll, and package the
marijuana.

Now for the bad news. Marijuana contains some 400 different chemicals. The
main chemical, THC, could cause short term memory loss, affect
co-ordination, learning and problem solving.
