IMPORTANT ISSUES OVERLOOKED

The Senate has forgotten about a few really important issues when it comes
to the legalization of marijuana.

First, they want to make it available the same as alcohol. As if we don't
already have enough problems with that drug. This means the government will
have to come up with some way for police officers check for toking and driving.

Also, they are expecting a huge in-flow of tax revenue. Think again.

Anyone can grow this stuff in his or her house for very little cost. And
they can grow it at a lot higher strength than the government will be
producing.

No doubt, with all the taxes placed on the product, it will be cheaper to
buy a better-quality herb from anyone off the street.

There is also the whole second-hand smoke issue. This is not tobacco.

The second-hand smoke from marijuana is intoxicating. That means if you are
allowed to smoke-up in a bar or nightclub, odds are you are having an
effect on everyone around you. So where is your designated driver now?
