CHANGE U.S. LAWS, TOO
Your article distorted the Canadian Senate's remarkable accomplishment.
After extensive careful study, a dispassionate Senate study uncovered the
truth: Marijuana is much less harmful than alcohol and should be treated
comparably -- as a regulatory, not criminal, matter -- saving billions of
law enforcement dollars.
The result shouldn't be a rush of Michigan citizens to Windsor to buy legal
marijuana, but sensible steps in Michigan toward an equally careful reform
of the state's and nation's uninformed, ineffectual and expensive marijuana
prohibition.
