'6,000 POT PLANTS': COST TO POLICE IS HIGH
In response to "Officers cut down 6,000 pot plants" (Aug. 28):
Why is it that police always report the number and estimated street value
of marijuana plants destroyed but never tell us what it costs taxpayers to
have them flying around in helicopters and hiking in the woods instead of
working on murder, rape or robbery cases?
