FALK ONLY CANDIDATE WITH REALISTIC SOLUTIONS
Kathleen Falk is the only candidate for governor who is offering
realistic, obtainable solutions for our state's most pressing problems.
Gov. Scott McCallum is sinking under the weight of his ineptitude. Jim
Doyle is compromising himself with money from road builders and
utilities, holding fundraisers with the lawyers representing lawmakers
in the caucus scandal, and advocating a cut in the corporate tax rate.
For those wavering between Falk and Barrett, just look at their
records: Barrett voted to deny domestic partnership benefits to
District of Columbia employees. Falk extended domestic partnership
rights to Dane County workers. Barrett believes Wisconsin patients
should be denied medical marijuana, even if their doctor believes it
is in their best interest. Falk believes medical decisions should be
made by doctors, not politicians. Barrett continues to waffle on the
Arrowhead-Weston transmission line that the DNR has labeled as the
most environmentally-destructive route possible. Falk remains the only
Democratic candidate taking a principled position opposing the line.
(She has) the only plan being advanced by any candidate in any party
that will bring our corrections industry back under control. We simply
cannot afford our failed "fail 'em and jail 'em" policy.
Falk will protect our environment, balance the budget, build our
economy, end the prison boom and expand health care.
