WE SHOULD EXERCISE THE FREEDOM TO LIVE OUR LIVES HOW WE WANT

Day after day, various groups, opinion editors and letter writers try
to convince us that we must live our lives by what they believe.

Many even attempt to justify new laws that will remove a perceived
evil. I believe that everyone should have the option of living their
own lives as they see fit. In other words, if you disagree with the
gay lifestyle, don't live it. Don't believe the teachings in the
Bible? Don't read it. If you are opposed to the killing of wolves,
don't shoot them. Want to reduce greenhouse emissions?

Walk to the video store.

Don't like fur? Don't wear it. If you believe gambling is a sin, put
away the bingo cards and dice. If you don't like smoke-filled
barrooms, drink at home. Do the shows and ads on TV disgust you? Read
a book. If you feel nude dancing is demeaning to women, avoid bars
with brass poles.

If you think your property taxes are too high, rent. If you think
sales taxes are too low, move to Seattle. Sick of partisan politics?

Vote for someone who is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. If you
believe marijuana is a gateway drug that is destroying our country,
put walnuts in your brownies. If you don't like the way I live my
life, live your own.
