REJECT CLEMENCY FOR DRUG DEALER
Regarding the story Tuesday "Drug trafficker gets clemency vote":
Scott Brannan should be "set free," eh?
Suddenly, the justice system in Arizona is subject to the whims of the
well-to-do and well-educated? Suddenly, being well-connected and well- off
exempts you from punishment for your crimes? At what time did "being really
sorry" become a guarantee for leniency?
Scott Brannan should not be released from his dutiful time in prison, nor
should he be allowed exemptions to return to medical school. I urge Gov.
Jane Hull to reject clemency for Brannan and I ask other citizens to make
the same request of our governor.
