SENATORS DESERVE PRAISE

AS AN American addiction psychiatrist, I highly praise the members of the
Canadian Senate Committee on Illegal Drugs. They have recommended
legalizing marijuana and regulating it via an integrated public health
policy. Their report is common sense, eloquently articulated by political
leaders, a rare and precious commodity in our troubled times. I sincerely
hope your nation follows their recommendations as my nation's leadership on
this issue qualifies it as certifiably insane.
