WANT MARIJUANA LEGALIZED? MOVE TO CANADA FOR THAT LAW

In response to the Sept. 10 letter "Follow Canada's lead on pot": Just
because Canada has led the way on allowing casinos, nude dancing and now
legal pot is no reason to follow. It saddens me to see that the country I
was born in has "progressed" so far down the scale of morality.

The drive to legalize marijuana is more than a few stoners moaning. It is
well-financed by some very wealthy international financiers who are
contributing big bucks to political campaigns in key areas of America. There
would be big money in legal drugs, and pot is only the tip of the iceberg.
Cocaine, opium and designer drugs would likely follow.

Maybe those who want legal pot should just move to Canada. We'll check back
on them in 10 years to see how they have "progressed."
